Wind Farm Transformer Maintenance

Over the last few years, Transaudit have been engaged by wind farm owners in Australia and New Zealand to conduct audits, sampling, testing and repairs on numerous wind turbine transformers.

We have become very good at these works and through necessity have developed sampling methods for transformers that have previously been unable to successfully be sampled, have created many procedures for working with minimum oil transformers in turbine basements, for using and understanding silicon oils and have also had our staff trained in primary protection devices and testing as per OEM requirements.

Many wind farm transformers now use our Trans-Sample couplings and owners have seen a marked increase in oil diagnostic quality.
